Terms & Conditions

CREDITS & PACKAGES

All classes must be booked and paid for in advance.

We operate a credit system where one credit is redeemable against one class or session of that type. Credits can be purchased individually or in packages, and must be used within the stipulated time frame. Credits are valid from date of purchase. Where there is a reduced timetable in operation, packages will be extended accordingly. Otherwise extensions to packages are at the discretion of the studio.

Credits are non-transferable between clients or across different packages or credit types, and cannot be redeemed against the purchase of merchandise. If you wish to purchase credits as a gift, please get in contact.

OFFERS

The code WELCOME15 can be applied at checkout to receive an introductory discount of 15% off your purchase, valid on single credits or packages for Reformer and matwork classes, as well as personal tuition, and excluding initial assessments. This offer is available for one time use only, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

CANCELLATION

You can cancel any session up to 24 hours in advance for an automatic credit refund. Cancellations after this time will result in the loss of that session's booking credit.

SCHEDULE

Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow the class to start promptly. There is a small waiting area inside the studio but please be advised that entry is not permitted whilst another class is in progress.

If you are a few minutes late, you are welcome to discreetly join the class, but beyond 5 minutes, entry is at the discretion of the teacher. A session may be extended at the discretion of the teacher and depending on the schedule.

CONSENT & LIABILITY

All clients must complete and sign a Client Enrolment Form before attending their first session.

Clients should notify the teacher before a session of any health issues or injuries that may impact their ability to exercise, and it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they are suitably fit to participate in the session. Exercise should be performed at a pace and level which feels comfortable for you, and it is important to communicate with your teacher to get this right. You should notify your teacher immediately should you experience any pain.

Some health conditions may require medical clearance before exercise can be undertaken. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain said clearance from their GP or other medical practitioner before commencing sessions. Pilates is a very safe form of exercise, but it is recommended that you always seek medical advice before beginning any exercise program.

Body of Work is not liable for any injury caused from participation in a session if: your doctor has advised you against such exercise; you fail to observe instructions on safety and/or technique; you fail to inform your teacher of any relevant health conditions and/or injuries; or if such injury is caused by the negligence of another participant in the class.

Pilates instruction involves hands-on correction. By participating in a session, you are giving consent for your teacher to work in this way as they judge appropriate. If you do not wish for your teacher to use tactile cues or corrections, it is your responsibility to discuss this with them.
